Why Should I Give?
We are a community of faith that has been richly blessed, including an endowment from members with great foresight. We have funds dedicated to preserving our building and to further our mission projects, both locally and abroad. However, we still need faithful giving from our members to cover staff salaries, and pay our other bills. Each fall we embark on a campaign of stewardship of the blessings we have received from God and how those resources can best serve His kingdom on Earth.
Per capita is the annual primary source of funding for the Office of the General Assembly for the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), synods and the presbyteries. It is how we mutually and equitably share the costs of coming together to discern the Spirit’s leading for the future. The Presbytery of Northern New York has set its per capita fee at $33 for 2025. This amount is assessed to our congregation, regardless of whether the member pays their share. Your contribution helps us cover our portion.
